Marvel Universe Taskmaster

I'm gonna be honest. I never knew Taskmaster until I played Marvel VS Capcom 3. I'm not really a marvel comics fan, just a toy collector (lately). My very reason of buying the Deadpool and Taskmaster comic pack was because of Deadpool alone. Anyway, I'm glad that he's tagged along with DP because he's another awesome figure in the marvel universe line.

Sculpt: 4.8/5

 I'm not really sure if he's comic accurate because I just seen him a few times (MVC3 and the included comic in the pack). I like his head sculpt, detailed and accurate. It seemed to me that he looks like Skeletor (I'm not sure). The cape was good enough. The quiver and bow is somewhat like Hawkeye's (from Secret Wars comic Pack). The belt (with holster and scabbard) is fairly done, the pistol and sword fits nicely. His sword was detailed enough. He also has a good grasp at the pistol.

I still have problems with him. First, his hands can barely hold the sword (too loose). Second, his shield was super annoying! It will drop with a slight flick and rumbling (What the f#*k, one more time and I'll glue you)! His mold is not a new one, I believe its the same mold as Hawkeye's. But still, the overall sculpt was impressive (nice work Hasbro).

Paint: 4.7/10

Wow, I noticed that Hasbro really improved paint job on the newly released figures. I'm glad that the "smudges" are nearing to its end. Aside from a super slight discoloration on his cape (lower right), his paint job is just perfect. I like how they painted him, the blue, white and orange, cool! It's comic accurate and also game accurate (MVC3). 

Articulation: 4.6/5

26 points of articulation. He is posable but still limited. His cape limits him from other poses like crouching. As I've said before, he can barely hold his sword so only few poses with his sword is manageable (don't forget about the shield..). But he still can strike awesome poses.

Fun Factor: 4.5/5

I like him. He's fun to pose. I'm not a fan of him (I barely know him) but I think I've grown interest on him. That Skeletor-like face is freakingly good! He's a cool figure.

Value: 4.5/5

A bang for the buck! Not a must have but I would definitely keep him! My Php899.00 is not wasted!

Overall: 4.62
